The next name tag order will be placed on Monday, October 27. If you haven’t yet received your name tag, please stop by the Welcome Table in the Lobby at the church to add your name to the list. If you ordered one last month, it is waiting for you to pick up at the Welcome Table as well.

We’ll enjoy a BBQ lunch, live music by Redeemed Band, axe throwing, inflatables for the kids, a preschool play area, lawn games, archery, and more. Buy your tikets below and plan to join us!

MS & HS HALLOWEEN PARTY

Middle & High Schoolers: Meet us at New Hope THIS SUNDAY, October 26, from 5-8pm in your Halloween costume or best Halloween spirit! Bring a pumpkin for our pumpkin painting contest. This evening will also feature Halloween-themed games and treats. Dinner will be provided. Grab a friend and we'll see you there!

ECHO SERVE OPPORTUNITY

We thoroughly enjoyed learning about ECHO's global farm and the various ways their initiatives support communities worldwide. If you participated in the farm tour, you might be wondering how to get more involved. Alternatively, if you missed the tour but are eager to partner with this remarkable organization, there's an opportunity for you. ECHO has invited New Hope to contribute by providing food and serving at one of the meals during their International Conference on November 11. Click here to find more information about volunteer opportunities and sign up. Your hospitality is greatly appreciated by ECHO and all who are working to combat hunger globally!

THRIFT STORE COSTUME CONTEST RECAP

Our Student Ministry's Thrift Store Costume Contest was a real highlight, bringing laughter and fun to everyone who attended! Students showcased their creativity with an impressive variety of costumes that they assembled using unique finds from thrift stores. From whimsical and classic characters to original designs, it was clear that the students had put a lot of thought and effort into their creations.

Operation Christmas Child

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” This passage from Matthew 24:14 is a foundational principle of Operation Christmas Child, whose mission is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children around the world. With the shoebox ministry, Samaritan's Purse partners with the local church worldwide to make disciples of all nations by sharing the Good News of Jesus to communities without easy access.

New Hope is participating in OCC this year in a new way…as a central drop-off location for boxes! We need people to pray, packers, number recorders, and greeters during our collection hours November 17-24. If you have interest in serving this year with OCC for New Hope, please contact Rachel Frey at rachel@newhopefortmyers.org. Also, please join us in praying for large collections this season and for the glory of God’s name to reach many far and new places!

Please take a box from the Lobby, fill it, and return it November 2, 9, or 16. If you are unable to shop, you may build a shoebox online, which will reach a hard-to-access community in a country whose borders make it difficult for the shoeboxes to be allowed in.
