If you are a member of New Hope, please remember to join us for our Congregational Meeting on Sunday, September 13, at 4pm, where members will vote to approve the church by-laws and elect officers for the upcoming term. As a member, your participation is important as we make these key decisions together for the life and leadership of our church. Ladies, come gather at The Well as we draw deeply from the living Word of God and encourage one another through meaningful conversation and Scripture.This fall, we’ll journey through the book of Ezekiel using An Unexpected Revival: Experiencing God’s Goodness Through Disappointment and Doubt by Erica Wiggenhorn. Together, we’ll discover how God meets us in seasons of disappointment and uncertainty and brings hope, renewal, and revival. We will meet Wednesdays, September 23–November 11, from 10am–noon in Room 206. The cost is only $8.50, which covers your personal study guide.

New Hope Student Ministry kicked off the weekend at Chick-fil-A on Friday night before heading to the big rivalry football game to cheer on Cypress Lake and Fort Myers High Schools! We love seeing our students connect, have fun, and support one another. We’re looking forward to a great fall together and hope to see students on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights!
It’s time to Serve Fort Myers! Join your New Hope family Saturday, September 26, from 9am-noon as we head out into our community for a morning of serving our neighbors and partnering with local organizations. There are several opportunities to choose from, so everyone can find a way to get involved!
In Florida, 81% of households led by single moms struggle to afford basic needs. This month, New Hope is collecting diapers and wipes to assist moms in similar situations and families who are fostering, to provide for the children in their care. Bring in diapers or pull-ups (sizes 1-6, 2T-5T) and sensitive wipes by September 27. Thank you for loving the vulnerable communities that children are raised in, from foster care to single-parent households.
JUVIE JAIL MINISTRY
Several women from New Hope faithfully visit the Southwest Florida Juvenile Detention Center each week to lead a Bible study and spend time in prayer with incarcerated teen girls. For more than a decade, this meaningful ministry has shared the hope and love of Christ with young women who often come from difficult circumstances, including family instability, trauma, exploitation, school disengagement, substance use, unsafe relationships, and a lack of positive adult support.
Additional volunteers are needed who have a mature Christian faith, a heart for helping young women know Christ, and are members of New Hope. There are also important ways for others to support this ministry! You can help by providing homemade, nut-free baked goods or by committing to pray for the volunteer team and the girls, asking the Holy Spirit to guide, protect, and work through their time together – especially on Mondays from 3–6pm.
