WISHING WELL TO TIFFANY & RACHEL
Tiffany Bach, our Contemporary Worship Leader, has brought joy, creativity, and a heart for worship to New Hope. Through her leadership and passion for helping others encounter the Lord through music, she has made a lasting impact on our worship ministry. Tiffany will be joining Cape Christian, where she will have the opportunity to serve alongside longtime friends. We are excited to see how God will continue to use her gifts in this new season. We will miss her and her family dearly and are praying for God’s blessing as He leads her into this next chapter of ministry!
Rachel Frey, our Director of Local Mission and Outreach, has faithfully served New Hope by helping us look beyond our church walls and into our community with compassion and purpose. Her heart for people and her commitment to serving others have helped New Hope live out our calling to love our neighbors well. Rachel is stepping away from her staff role to homeschool her children and spend more time with her family. We are grateful for the many ways she has poured herself into our church and community, and we pray that this new season will be filled with joy, grace, and meaningful time with the people she loves most.
Please join us in thanking Tiffany and Rachel for their faithful service to New Hope and in praying for both of them as they follow where the Lord is leading. While their roles may be changing, we are excited for the ways they will continue to serve God's Kingdom!
Join us for an evening of fellowship and delicious eats on Wednesday, September 2, at 6pm. Come enjoy fried chicken and all the fixin’s plus activities on the lawn suitable for all ages, with both indoor and outdoor seating options available. We look forward to sharing this time together as a church family!
Wednesday Family Nights are back starting on September 9 from 6:30–8pm and there will be something for the whole family – from infants through adults!
Class for Adult Women:
If you’ve ever tended your own garden, you know that the fruit is most delicious when you’ve watched it grow. In Beth Moore’s Chasing Vines, she explores the ways God delights in watching things grow—and how the vineyard holds the secret to a more abundant and meaningful life. As she traces this metaphor through Scripture, Beth uncovers how every part of our own lives—even the rockiest soil—can be used by God to make a difference for His Kingdom. This six-part series will run September 9, 16, 23, & 30 and October 7 & 14.
Class for Co-ed Adults:
Suffering is a reality of life – but how do we, as Christians, understand and respond to it? In this class, Pastor Sheldon will explore what Scripture teaches about suffering, why God allows it, and how our faith can shape the way we walk through difficult seasons. Together, we’ll consider how suffering can deepen our faith, draw us closer to God, and help us discover hope in the midst of hardship. Come join us for a thoughtful and encouraging conversation about one of life’s most difficult questions and how we can face suffering with faith, hope, and trust in God.
Lee Health’s Blood Drive will be here on Sunday, September 6, from 8am-1pm. All blood donated will stay in Lee County and give life to those in our community.
YOUTH WEEK RECAP!
Our summer finale was so much fun! Take a look at some pictures from our various Youth Week events!
Middle and high school students are invited to join us for Hawaiian Night on our first Wednesday night of the fall on September 9 from 6:30-8:30pm in Room 212! Meet your small groups, play games, and wear your Hawaiian outfits!
Note: The student ministry is now meeting on Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. All other ministries and classes will continue to end at 8:00pm.
Help us bless our neighbors in need! During the month of August, we will be collecting gently-used men's clothing, shoes, belts, and socks, as well as new personal care items such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, and toothbrushes for Rescue Mission. Your donations provide practical support and remind those in our community that they are seen, valued, and loved. Thank you for your generosity!

Lance teaches practical skills such as welding and fabricating to deaf men, giving them dignity in an environment where unemployment is 90%. Lance also works with New LIfe International to make and distribute hypochlorous acid, an antiseptic which has completely changed wound care in Bulawayo.
