CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

& ICE CREAM SOCIAL

Join us for our Congregational Meeting this Sunday, May 24, at 4pm. Members will vote to approve the church by-laws and elect officers for the upcoming term. As a member, your participation is important as we make these key decisions together for the life and leadership of our church. Following the meeting, stay to enjoy an Ice Cream Social with sweet treats and time to connect with one another. We hope to see you there! If you would like to review the by-laws prior to the meeting, you can find them through the link below or pick up a copy in the Lobby at church this Sunday.

The church office will be closed on Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day as we remember and honor those who gave their lives in serving our nation. The office will reopen at 9am on Tuesday.

Join us Sunday, May 31, from 3-5pm for a special gathering designed to encourage and connect women through faith and fellowship. We will explore the stories of women in the Bible, hear meaningful personal testimonies, enjoy time of connection, and have some fun together with a game. Come be refreshed, inspired, and reminded of your God-given worth!

FamCon is coming June 4-6!

FamCon is a blast for kids, but its main purpose is to strengthen families and help children build a faith that lasts! Parents will drop their kids off at New Hope on Thursday and Friday, June 4-5, to enjoy creatively fun ministry from 6-8:30pm. Then on Saturday, June 6, from 9am-12pm, parents will join in the fun and learning with their children. When parents and kids spend intentional time learning and laughing together, everyone's faith and relationships are strengthened!

SENIOR SUNDAY

Thank you so much for celebrating the graduation of our high school seniors with us last Sunday! Please join us in continuing to support them in prayer for their spiritual growth over the next four years as they go off to their next chapter.

STUDY DAY

Saturday, May 23 • 12-4pm

Getting ready for finals or finishing up quarterly projects? Join us in Room 212 at New Hope for a relaxed study day. We will provide lunch for those who come, and will provide games during study breaks. Come and go as you please! Friends are welcome.

HIGH SCHOOL CAMP MEETING

Sunday, May 31 • 12:30pm

Meet Ashleigh in Room 212 at New Hope for a meeting about camp expectations and complete the necessary paperwork to prepare for our high school trip to North Carolina! Please make other arrangements with Ashleigh if you cannot make this meeting. Students need to come with at least one parent or guardian.

ZOOKERBALL!

Tuesday, June 2 • 6-8pm

Middle and High School Students are invited to join us at New Hope on June 2 from 6-8pm for our Annual Summer Kickoff Event: Zookerball - the greatest semi-aquatic sport of all time! This is an extreme slip-n-slide kickball game so you will need to wear clothes that can get wet or wear your bathing suits (one piece suits for girls or two-pieces with a shirt over top). Invite your friends to the church and prepare to get wet! We will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and dessert.

One of the joys of being part of New Hope is that we don’t grow alone — we grow together. As I think about the Global Leadership Summit, which we're hosting August 6–7, I keep coming back to that truth. Together, we are growing our leadership so we can accomplish all to which God calls us.

That’s why I want to make sure you know about a special opportunity this year. If you register for the Summit before June 19, you can bring someone who has never attended before and receive their ticket half off. Just use the code FirstTimeFriend at checkout. (This offer is limited to one discounted ticket per order.) It’s a simple way to invite someone you’re already walking alongside — a coworker, a friend, a neighbor — to experience leadership growth alongside you. Take a moment and consider who you will invite.

And just a reminder, Super Early Bird pricing is available through June 19, which makes this the best time to register.

JESSE FRAME

YouthHope

Nearly three years after Jesse’s first trip to Ecuador, he is headed back to Ecuador for a final site visit with the School of Youth Ministry Trainers – Latin America. During this visit, trainers-in-training will be leading their first full training events. Jesse’s team’s role is to observe, evaluate, offer support and troubleshooting, and celebrate their hard work as they officially “graduate.”

Special Prayer Request:

Please pray for one of the trainers at the Ninawachi location. She is in the early stages of pregnancy and has experienced some medical concerns this week, resulting in bed rest for the next week. Please pray for healing and protection for both her and her baby, and that she would be able to fulfill her training role.

General Prayer Requests:

• Safe travels (there will be a lot of driving!)

• That both training programs would go smoothly

• That the YouthHope team can provide the final coaching and encouragement needed to set these trainers up for long-term success

• For the Frame family while Jesse is away (trip ends May 26)

Many thanks for the prayers on behalf of Jesse and his YouthHope team, who could not fulfill their work without the prayer and support!
