Join us this Sunday, May 3,
as we celebrate The Lord's Supper
during both of our worship services.
Lee Memorial’s Blood Drive will be at New Hope this Sunday, May 3, from 8am-1pm. All blood donated will stay in Lee County and give life to those in our community. You can still reserve your time slot below or stop by the bus in the main parking lot on Sunday and ask if there is an opening.
The first Sunday of each month, we encourage you to give above and beyond your normal tithes and offerings towards our Care and Compassion Fund which is used to help people in our church and community who are having temporary financial struggles. Simply indicate "Care and Compassion" on the memo line of your check or on your envelope this Sunday or click here to give online.
Join us TONIGHT (May the 1st) at 8:45pm at Lee Health Sports Complex for New Hope's softball game and a galaxy-themed night full of movie trivia, music, props, and much more! In this episode, New Hope aims to take down the Villas Grace troopers. Will they succeed and fly off with a victory or will they fall to the dark side? Come and witness the epic battle for yourself!
If you attend our 11am Contemporary Service and would like to familiarize yourself with the songs we will be singing this Sunday, here are the links to check them out:

YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY
Our Young Adults Ministry – for those who are 18-29 and have graduated high school – meets on the first and third Sunday night of each month. Join us this Sunday, May 3, at 7pm in Room 212 for food, games, worship, and a message from God’s Word.
This Wednesday, May 6, is the last of our Wednesday Family Nights until fall. Join us at 6:30pm on Wednesday to enjoy one last time of classes for adults, student ministry, children's ministry, and nursery care.
NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
The National Day of Prayer is this Thursday, May 7. New Hope's Sanctuary will be open from 9am–3pm that day, with guided resources available to help you join others across the nation in this time of reflection and intercession.
Help us spread kindness, one sandwich at a time! We’re inviting our church family to support our local homeless community by donating PB&J sandwiches for We Care. These simple meals make a meaningful difference and are an easy, hands-on way to serve our neighbors in need. Drop off your PB&J sandwiches this Thursday, May 7, by noon. Every sandwich is a tangible expression of love and care. Thank you for helping us nourish both bodies and spirits in our community!
FamCon is coming June 4-6!
FamCon is a blast for kids, but its main purpose is to strengthen families and help children build a faith that lasts! Parents will drop their kids off at New Hope on Thursday and Friday, June 4-5, to enjoy creatively fun ministry from 6-8:30pm. Then on Saturday, June 6, from 9am-12pm, parents will join in the fun and learning with their children. When parents and kids spend intentional time learning and laughing together, everyone's faith and relationships are strengthened!
We need adults and students (completed 6th-12th grade) to help with providing food for helpers, decorating, leading small groups of kids through their FamCon experience, and more! Click here to volunteer!
Pray for all involved in this amazing adventure!
You can grab a FamCon Prayer Calendar in the Lobby at New Hope on Sunday or click here to view/download it!
Donate items to help make FamCon a success!
FamCon is a special time of learning, fun, and connection for our kids and families – and you can be part of making it happen! Our donation drive for May is to support FamCon. Pick up a brown bag and item list from the Lobby on Sunday, fill it with listed items, and return it to New Hope. Every donation helps create a meaningful and memorable experience for kids who attend. Thank you for supporting FamCon in this practical and generous way!
FOOD DRIVE
SUCCESS!
Thank you, New Hope! You helped us collect 103 bags of shelf-stable food for City Takers! This food will be given to families in need during an upcoming outreach event where New Hope members will visit local communities to meet neighbors and share the life-giving message of the gospel.

YOUNG LIFE LEE COUNTY
As summer approaches, Lee County Young Life is focused on finishing the school year strong with teens while preparing for summer camp at Sharptop Cove on June 14-20. These final weeks are especially meaningful, particularly for seniors who are considering their next steps. Young Life's heart is to build lasting relationships that extend beyond high school, offering ongoing support as students pursue their future, including opportunities for those who may attend FGCU to stay involved through Young Life College. YL is also walking alongside the current college students as they finish exams, plan for summer, and prepare for what’s next – providing space for rest, encouragement, and a Christ-centered community during this busy season.
There are ways you can be involved in the ministry
happening through Lee County Young Life:
PRAY!
Ministry truly cannot happen without prayer, so the time and dedication of YL prayer partners is incredibly valuable to the heart of their mission. Thank you for continued prayers for high school clubs at Fort Myers, Dunbar, Estero, and Bonita, as well as college clubs at FSW and FGCU.
SERVE!
YL currently needs to add board members onto the team! If you've ever wondered if there's a way you can be hands-on in this ministry, this is one of them. If you have a heart for teens and college students, but aren't looking to be up front at the events, this could be the opportunity you're looking for. Board members are a crucial part to fundraising efforts, banquet planning, and leader care support. If this is something that interests you, please reach out to chat about what this could look like for you personally (rachel@newhopefortmyers.org)
LEAD!
Volunteer leaders are needed who have a heart to serve teenagers or college students, up front in the messy (sometimes literally in games and activities and sometimes in guidance through tough points of their lives). If your heart is to walk alongside students and earn the right to be heard, please consider getting involved in this way.
