MISSIONARY MOMENT
THIS SUNDAY:
THE "B" FAMILY
This Sunday, April 19, we will have a special “Missionary Moment” interview with the “B” Family during both of our worship services.
The "B" Family works with refugees in a sensitive area, primarily through the means of an education center. Over the past six years, more than 400 people have come and gone through those doors, hearing stories of the prophets and Jesus. During their time there, God has blessed them with the opportunity to help send two Muslim Background Believer (MBB) families back to their country as ministers of the gospel. The "B" Family plays a vital role in encouraging, coaching, and raising up prayer support and occasional financial support for these families.
After 10 years on the field, the "B" Family is currently taking their first sabbatical. Please pray for good rest, insightful reflections of their time on the field and personal ministry, as well as discernment for what lies ahead for them in the next season. Also, pray for their foreign friends who are sowing and spreading the good news of the gospel in their country – for them to find people of peace with open hearts and minds, for wisdom in how they share, and for others to receive and believe the good news!
If you attend our 11am Contemporary Service and would like to familiarize yourself with the songs we will be singing this Sunday, here are the links to check them out:
Our New Hope co-ed softball team (anyone 18+) has their first game at 7:45pm TONIGHT (April 17) at Lee Health Sports Complex! The spirit section is having a Blue-Out, so wear your best blue outfit for a chance to win best-dressed and help us kick off opening night! This will be a free, faith-filled evening packed with music, games, prizes, and community time. We hope to see you there!
If you can’t make it tonight, you can click here for our full season schedule of games and add them to your calendar!

ECHO
Each year, ECHO North America trains nine highly motivated interns who come from a wide variety of academic backgrounds and experience. Yet, they share one common passion – a heart to serve communities around the world with sustainable agricultural practices and appropriate technologies. Join us in praying for these new interns as they are adjusting to the first month in their new home for the next year as well as the leaving cohort as they transition into their new seasons. The Lord is with them and has opened many doors, but we cannot deny that in our humanity the unknown can draw some fear - but with the Lord, it can be exciting!
If you’d like to join in supporting ECHO this month, New Hope will be volunteering on the farm, meeting the new interns, and spending time in fellowship with our partners there on Thursday, April 30 from 8am-noon. The weather should be beautiful and we’d love to have you.
