Our challenge is managing our growth and developing a music ministry for all ages fully integrated with the life and teaching ministry of the church as a whole. Individuals at New Hope are encouraged to serve by offering their God-given time and talent to honor Him and enhance our corporate worship.
New Hope Singers
Our choir prepares for our 8:00 and 9:30 worship services on Sunday on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00pm. Seasonal and concert music is prepared from 8:00 to 9:15pm with occasional additional scheduled rehearsals. Members are free to sing for any or all services. The singers’ presentation of our various Christmas, Holy Week and other special programs is often accompanied by instrumentalists. Watch video footage from our most recent Easter Sunday service.
New Hope Ringers
The New Hope Ringers ring on scheduled Sundays for worship and are often featured during our other special musical presentations. The New Hope Ringers Sextet also performs at community concerts, having rung at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, the Edison Estates and the Burroughs House.
Traditional Musical Opportunities at New Hope:
- New Hope Singers now meet on Thursdays, 6:30 to 9:15pm in the sanctuary.
- The entire New Hope Ringers rehearse in room 106/108 on Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00pm.

Contemporary Worship
Every Sunday morning, New Hope inspires Fort Myers residents with an upbeat and relevant Contemporary Worship Service at 11:00 am. No smoke or gimmicks, this service features muliti-media presentations, great worship music with a full band, and is a favorite with our younger members and the young at heart.
Contemporary Musical Opportunities at New Hope:
We are actively looking for musicians to add to our team on Sunday morning. Do you play drums, lead electric guitar, keyboard, or bass? Harmony vocalists and sound technicians are always needed. If you have the time and talent, email Deb Fransway.
Sound Equipment for the Contemporary Service
From time to time we need to replace sound equipment: cables, microphones, stage monitors, amplifiers, etc. If you would like to help in this area, we will put all donations to work for the glory of God. Click HERE if you’d like to make a donation.

Concerts and Special Worship
We love music at New Hope! We frequently invite guest musicians to perform in concerts and in worship. We feature special music at our Advent services, as well as Christmas and Easter. We also have concerts throughout the year featuring music talent from our community and all over the world.
Kids’ Choir
This program is designed for students interested in participating in the liturgy at various times throughout the year. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 7:15 pm.
