New Hope Presbyterian Church offers a variety of Music Ministry opportunities for all ages and worship styles. With both Contemporary and Traditional options, there is definitely something for everyone!
New Hope Singers
Our seasonal choir performs at the 8am and 9:30am Sunday services over the winter months and rehearses on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:15pm. Members are free to sing for either or both traditional services. The singers’ presentation of our various Christmas, Holy Week, and other special programs is often accompanied by instrumentalists.
New Hope Ringers
The New Hope Ringers perform at specific traditional services and are often featured during our other special musical presentations. Rehearsal is Tuesday evening at 7pm. Call or email Phil: 239.274.1230. Come ring with us!
If you can read music and are interested in ringing but have never done so, introductory level coaching can be offered for six or more ringers. Register your interest with Phil.
Every Sunday morning, New Hope inspires Fort Myers residents with an upbeat and relevant Contemporary Worship at 11am. No smoke or gimmicks, this gathering features muliti-media presentations, great worship music with a full band, and is a favorite with our younger members and the young at heart.
Contemporary Musical Opportunities at New Hope:
The Praise Team is EXPANDING! Do you play drums, electric guitar, keyboard, or bass? Harmony vocalists and sound technicians are always in demand. Rehearsals are flexible. If you have the time and talent, please email Kevin Kenworthy.

Concerts and Special Worship
We love music at New Hope and frequently invite guest musicians to perform in concerts and in worship. We feature special music during Advent, Christmas Eve and Easter services. We also have concerts throughout the year showcasing music talent from our community and all over the world.
Kids’ Music Ministry
This year, New Hope Presbyterian Church will be focusing on developing the complete young worshipper with an eclectic approach that will include singing, ringing, familiarity with classic Scripture. Classes meet on Wednesday evenings. More info HERE.
