VBS 2019 – Monday

New Hope Presbyterian Church VBS

MONDAY UPDATE:

Hi, families!

Many of us are relating to this theme that “life is wild!” It is our hope to help kids discover God’s goodness in the midst of any circumstances so that we all develop a ferocious faith!

Today in Bible, kids learned of when the Israelites were slaves in Egypt. (Exodus 5)  They were mistreated and bitterly complained to God. It only got worse! God responded saying, “I am the Lord. I will rescue you from your slavery.”  We learned that….

Each year, we offer a home connection – questions to engage your child in faith conversations.

Talk about times when life is unfair. How do we respond? Are we hurt, angry? Can we take our concerns to God like the Israelites did? Can God take the unfair situation and use it for good? Romans 8:28 has a promise for God’s people. Can you tell about a time when God used something unfair to do something good in you?
