Early Childhood Ministry

church toddler care

We seek to provide a safe and loving christian atmosphere for the youngest members of our church family by providing special care for 3 months through pre-kindergarten children.

Sunday Mornings

On Sunday mornings, the nursery is open during the 9:30 and 11am worship services. Parents who attend worship at 8am during the Winter/Spring season are encouraged to utilize the wiggle room in the rear of the sanctuary.

Nursery programming is based on special lessons just right for our infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Each Sunday we will guide the children in positive experiences related to 3 Simple Truths: “God made me,” “God loves me,” and “Jesus wants to be my friend forever,” using age appropriate activities, stories, crafts, and snacks.

Wiggle Room

A Wiggle Room adjoining the sanctuary is provided for the comfort of families with infants during worship.

Tuesdays

Nursery care is available during Women’s Bible Study Groups, Circles of Friendship, MOPS, MomsNext, and Moms@Night meetings.  You can click to see the October schedule and November scheduleClick here for more info about these ministries for moms.

Wednesdays

Nursery through preschool childcare is available during Women’s Bible Study Groups and Wednesday evening programming. You can click to see the October schedule and November schedule.

Thursdays

Thursday mornings are Parents’ Day Out. This is a free opportunity for New Hope Families to have their young children in a fun and loving environment from 9am-1pm. They’ll learn more about their friend Jesus and how much He loves them. Registration is required.  Please email Pam at pam@newhopefortmyers.org.

If you are interested in joining a music ministry, rehearsals are Thursday evenings and we do provide childcare. Please email Pam at pam@newhopefortmyers.org.

How Parents Can Help

  • To assist your child in adjusting to his/her surroundings, bring him/her to church on a regular basis.
  • Be sure to label ALL of your child’s belongings clearly and always bring a change of clothing in case of spills or accidents.
  • Please use the sign-in/sign-out sheets, pagers, and security sticker system in place to protect your children.

Please refer to the Nursery Guidelines which explain more about our policies. All children must have a registration form on file with us: you can download/print a copy to fill out and bring on your first visit! You may now also complete your nursery registration online.
