Homeless Ministry

City Gate Homeless Ministry is open every Tuesday morning for homeless men and women in the Fort Myers area. The doors are open from 8 am until 10 am. Their mission is to provide a safe and loving environment within a Christian atmosphere for those in need.

Over 100 men and women attend the mission regularly. There are six showers available, towels and all toiletries are provided. The clothes closets consists of every essential clothing item needed for men and women. The attendees may bring to the mission one bag of dirty laundry where the volunteers wash, dry and fold the clothes and return the bag by noon on Wednesday. A hot appetizing meal is served after devotions and prayer. Haircuts are available by a volunteer barber. Family Health Services is at the mission to provide medical assistance every week.
