OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Early last Wednesday morning, eleven vehicles lined the parking lot at New Hope, each filled to the brim with shoeboxes. Evangelical Christian School had filled over 1,000 shoeboxes and delivered them to be counted, packed, and loaded on the trailer that would take them to a Samaritan's Purse processing center. More drop-offs like this happened all week long, with 54 volunteers helping to carton and load them into the trailers in a smooth process.
National Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child came to an end on Monday with New Hope members collecting 290 shoeboxes, and, as a central drop-off location, receiving a total of 14,448 shoeboxes in three full trailers! Thanks, New Hope, for sharing your amazing facilities so that the ministry of the shoeboxes may go from our area, to all over the world to be distributed along with the life-changing message of the gospel!
