As a ministry of New Hope Presbyterian Church, MOPS of Fort Myers is a network of women dedicated to the message that “mothering matters.” MOPS celebrates motherhood and desires to create an environment where mothers of all ages and backgrounds feel welcome, supported, and able to build relationships with others and with Christ. Mothers of young children need support and encouragement, MOPS is designed to provide that through fellowship with other mothers, special programs and interaction with Mentor Moms. Meetings are designed to encourage, develop, and provide resources for moms, whatever their stage, from expectant mothers to mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten.
Mentor Moms are important aspect of this ministry. Experienced women meet with the MOPS moms to share life through discussion, encouragement, motherly guidance and spiritual mentoring. New Hope women volunteers are needed to serve as Mentor Moms.

MOPPETS—a service provided by New Hope’s Early Childhood Ministry—offers childcare while moms enjoy the meetings. Every child will be nurtured in a loving environment. They will be encouraged to play in a group setting and learn to be independent of their mothers. Each child will be guided in positive experiences with fun age appropriate activities including lively Bible lessons, crafts, and games. A light snack is provided for the children.
