We are thankful for all of the members who have worked together to make our land purchase possible. Our original plan was to pay for the land by the summer of 2011. As it became evident that God’s generosity through our church family was greater than we could ask or imagine, we hoped that we’d be able to pay the balance of the loan by Easter instead.
We are humbled to report that as of April 10, 2011, our New Hope family has paid the balance of the land loan, and started in on giving toward the next phase of our capital campaign! We will have ongoing expenses for architectural work, artist’s renderings and site preparation work, and anticipate the second phase of our capital campaign in early 2012.
We are currently between Phase I (Stepping Out in Faith) and Phase II, but are still accepting gifts to an interim building fund, both for current costs and future building needs. Any funds given over and above the amount spent for pre-construction activities will be transferred to the building fund for constructing our future church.
