Dear Women of New Hope,

Our Women in Ministry (WIM) leadership team has been working over the past few months to plan programs and put a program calendar in place.  We are honored and blessed to serve the women of New Hope, and we hope you'll enjoy your summer!

Last year as we began our new church, we evaluated what we brought with us, developed a new mission and vision statement for WIM, and looked at new ways to bring women together.  The Women in Ministry at New Hope was born.  Under the “umbrella” of the WIM team are the following women’s ministries of New Hope.

Women's Ministries

But our focus is not just on developing programs.  It is about developing a love for Christ by leading, teaching, and serving, not only within New Hope but also in the community and in the world.

We support all of the women in the church and call each of you to be committed to Christ.  Regardless of where you are in your walk with Him, we want to encourage you to take another step and grow in your relationship with Him through study, prayer, and being obedient to the Great Commission.

We hope you will enjoy this summer; and as you stay cool and rest up, maybe you’ve thought about getting a few friends together to do a book study or a Bible study for several weeks, or maybe this is the summer you are going to develop a routine of quiet time with God.

We hope you will prayerfully consider what the Lord would have you do to equip yourself to move out in service for Him.  We hope you will intentionally develop a plan of action and use the website for the latest program information on it.  We will be adding a women’s calendar to the website to help you in your planning.

Let us make a point of getting to know one another, introducing ourselves to women we see at church but don’t know, going beyond a quick “hi, how are you?” and taking the time to be Christlike in our actions.

We care about you and are here to support you and serve you to further engage ourselves in His mission.

Let’s all be filled with His spirit and move forward with his work of kingdom building.

Blessings and Gratitude,

Vicki Bower and  The WIM Leadership Team

Women in Ministry: the EPC Print E-mail

Women of the EPC are a diverse group. We know the benefits and challenges of being a member of a large church. And we recognize the benefits and challenges of being a part of a much smaller one. Some appreciate the worship found in a traditional setting, while others freely lift their hands with the first chord of a praise chorus. We are young, a bit older, married, single, professionals, homemakers, moms, students, drink only sweet tea, have our clear preferences at Starbucks, known to be a Martha or a Mary and have been gifted in a variety of unique ways to follow God's call to us in the body of Christ. And above all, we have the same Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

EPC Women In Ministry serves local churches by developing women as servant leaders for the equipping of God's church and the enlarging of His kingdom. Such leaders are developed by encouraging, resourcing, equipping and mobilizing women to fully participate in God's work in their churches and the world.
