New Hope Cafe |

the joy of the cafe
Hello New Hope Friends! As I hope you've noticed, for the last two months a team of volunteers has been putting on "Cafe Hope" each week as a way to foster some hospitality and community in our church! Our aim has been to serve you with grace, provide some great coffee and baked goods, and raise a few funds for student mission trip scholarships.

Bloodmobile |
Every two months our church hosts an essential community project, the Lee Memorial Health System Bloodmobile. We give our blood to help those who need this life saving
product. Our donations are made to the Lee Memorial Health System
where the blood is used within our community.
One week before the blood mobile comes to New Hope, you'll find
Dick and Peggy Gasmire signing up people into time slots for the
following Sunday. This is done so we can have the maximum number of
people with the minimum waiting time.
Those who have not signed up are certainly welcome to just stop in at the blood mobile and make a donation. Walk ins are always welcome!
Further information may be obtained by calling the Gasmires at 239.543.8394, checking the church calendar, or by visiting the Lee Memorial website.

Community Ministry Council |
Have you grown to love Lee County, this area we call home? I think most of us have yet we realize there are some significant needs out there. As we begin anew, New Hope’s Community Ministry Council is looking for 2 or 3 people that can help us rethink our approach and focus in the community. It’s not that our approach has been wrong in the past…rather using the minds of 4 or 5 people to insure we start out going in the right direction. It’s not a huge time commitment…probably 4 or 5 monthly meetings in year’s time. Interested? Contact Gordon Johnson by
