Early Childhood

nursery05.jpg Welcome to New Hope’s Early Childhood Ministry!

We want to follow Jesus’ example of welcoming children to the family of God!

We seek to provide a safe and loving atmosphere for the youngest members of our church family by providing special care for 3mos. through pre-kindergarten children.  We have special curriculums just right for our infants, toddlers and preschoolers.  Each Sunday we will guide the children in positive experiences related to 3 Simple Truths, “God made me,” “God loves me,”  and “Jesus wants to be my friend forever,” using age appropriate activities, stories, crafts and snacks.

How Parents Can Help…

  • To assist your child in adjusting to his/her surroundings, bring him/her to church on a regular basis.
  • Be sure to label ALL of your child’s belongings clearly and always bring a change of clothing in case of spills or accidents.
  • Please use the sign-in / sign-out sheets, pagers, and security sticker system in place to protect your children.

Please refer to the Nursery Guidelines which explains more about our policies. Also, please read our Sickness Policy to protect our children and staff.

Sickness Policy Print E-mail

The New Hope Sickness Policy protects children and staff who are well.  If your child has any of the following symptoms, please keep them home so that they can get adequate rest.  This is also imperative to their good health and a faster recovery.

  • Fever
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Yellow/Green Mucus Drainage
  • Excessive Clear Mucus Drainage

These symptoms must not be present for 24 hours, without the use of medicine, before bringing them to the nursery.

We will do our very best to keep your child healthy while they are with us.  We take great care to ensure a germ free as possible environment.

If any of these symptoms occur while in our care, we will notify you at once.
