JOY Sunday School Class

The J.O.Y. Sunday School Class has just finished a verse-by-verse study of the entire Old Testament! But, the class isn’t ending there! We are moving on through the New Testament beginning Sunday, January 7, 2018. Open your mind and heart and join us as we begin the next part of our wonderful journey! Click here for more info!

Church Family Dinner

Our next Church Family Dinner will be Wednesday, January 10, 2018, from 5pm to 6:30pm in the narthex. On the menu is spinach and artichoke chicken, honey glazed carrots, rice, rolls, and cookies. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for kids and will be on sale in the narthex and in front of the kitchen on Sundays, December 31 and January 7, or you can click here to register and pay.

Christmas Poinsettias

We will be decorating the church narthex and sanctuary with poinsettias for Christmas. If you would like to designate a poinsettia in honor of or in memory of a loved one, please fill out this form. The cost is $10 per plant. Names will be listed in the Christmas Eve bulletin. Poinsettias will be available to take home after the 7pm service on Christmas Eve for those who have requested them. All proceeds will benefit Missions!

Christmas at Colonial

A big THANK YOU to all that picked up a gift tag! This is the last week to drop off your gift for a 5th grader at Colonial. Please drop them off in the Narthex or office by Tuesday, December 12th. If you did not get a tag, but would still like to help out, please contact Daniel Meade, as there are always a few tags that do not return!

Circles Update

Circles of Friendship are women’s small groups that meet monthly from October through May for fun, friendship, Bible study and a mission. Our next meetings are Tuesday, November 14 from 9:30-11:30am or 6:00-7:30pm or Thursday, November 16 from 9:30-11:30am. All Circles meet at the church. Boy Scouts Troop 193 – After Camp Report

On Monday, October 8, 2017, our Boy Scout Troop 193 held its Court of Honor to award merit badges and rank advancements achieved during the troop’s summer camp session at Camp Daniel Boone in Canton, North Carolina. During the weeklong camp session, 27 of our Scouts completed a total of 88 merit badges and partially completed another 34 that they have continued to work on after returning from camp.
