Starting Point

If you have questions about the Christian faith, are a new Christian, or are coming back to church after some time away, Starting Point is a great first step. It’s an 8-week conversational small group environment where you can explore faith and experience community. A Starting Point group begins Sunday, September 8 at 9:30am at New Hope. Each small group is limited to eight, so sign up soon by contacting Dava Colcord via call/text at 239-297-5012 or email at

Free English Classes

The ability to speak English is crucial for people to thrive in our community. At New Hope, we offer free English classes for school age children and adults who are eager to learn and succeed in the United States. This fall, we are looking forward to making new friends and helping more people increase their language skills, but we need your help. If you would like to volunteer as a teacher or mentor, we would love to have you join our team. Classes meet on Tuesdays, beginning September 10 from 7-8:30pm. No special training is required. If you would like to volunteer or get more info, please email Deborah Fransway at

Grace-Based Parenting

Parenting is hard. We want to raise our kids to love and obey God, but we can’t even get them to obey us! Here’s the good news: we can learn to respond to our kids with love, firm boundaries, and grace-based discipline even when their behavior lights our fuse. Join us for this discussion-based study in Parent Network beginning Sunday, August 18 at 9:30am in Room 208 at New Hope as parents with children from preschool thru high school seek to apply these life changing principles and set rules based on God’s priorities, not our own.

BizNet – Connecting New Hope Businesspeople

Would you like to find out how you can be part of a New Hope Business Networking event?  At NHP BizNet, you will have lunch with other New Hope professionals, business persons, and entrepreneurs.  It will be a great place to network for your business with the people you worship next to each week!  Lunch, networking, and a time of encouraging Biblical challenge will be part of each monthly event, which will meet the second Friday of each month starting September. If you would like to register for the pre-Launch list, fill out this form!

Summer Choir

Mark your calendar! There’s one more chance for you to sing with the Summer Choir – Sunday, August 25. We will meet that morning to rehearse the morning anthem (which is usually a hymn based work). Please contact Ben Ball at with any questions. Otherwise, we’ll see you on August 25 to sing!
