An Evening in the Caribbean

Come join us for Caribbean food, fun and learning about our sister church, CCM-Santiago, on Friday, July 27, at 6pm at New Hope. Pastor Pedro de la Rosa will be giving us a brief history of his church, a vision for the future, and answer questions regarding how we can partner together. We are not selling tickets, but there will be a donation box to help offset the cost of dinner. If you have questions, contact Daniel Meade at

Juvie Jail Ministry

The Juvie Jail ministry now has the opportunity to include the boys in its ministry. After reaching out to the girls, we now have leadership for the boys also. We are looking for “a few good men and women” who would be willing to help with this ministry. The times would be Monday evenings from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. There would be no preparation needed, just a heart to share Jesus with these boys. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Candy Engelman at

Please Pray for Pastor Andrew Brunson

EPC Teaching Elder Andrew Brunson was arrested in the Turkish coastal city of Izmir (biblical Smyrna) on October 7, 2016 and has been imprisoned ever since. He and his family have lived in Turkey since 1993. At the time of his arrest, he was serving as pastor of Izmir Resurrection Church. Andrew has been formally indicted and is facing decades in prison. His trial began Monday, April 16. We would ask you to pray throughout the week for favor and for Andrew’s freedom.

Hospitality Ministry Opportunities

Our Hospitality Ministry is seeking a number of people to serve as greeters, ushers, parking lot attendants, and Information Table attendants for each of our services. The only requirements are a warm welcoming smile, a genuine love for people, and a servant’s heart. All are welcome. We will train you. If this seems like a good ministry fit for you, please either fill out this form, call the church office at 239.274.1230, or sign up at the Information Table in the narthex and one of our Hospitality Ministry Leaders will contact you to discuss how you can participate in this vitally important ministry. Email Patti Mehaffie with any questions.
