Thank You from the Weinmans

Thank you all for your faithfulness to us as we serve here in Scotland. Thank you for your prayers, notes, and financial support. We so appreciated the money you raised at Christmas and we have used it to purchase life jackets and a place to hang them for Young Life Camp this summer starting July 3rd. Please continue to pray for the kids that will be coming from the UK this summer that they will meet Jesus during their time here. Thank you! [More]

EF Educational Homestay Program

This summer, 150 students from Russia, France, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Italy, Germany and China, will be traveling to our area to participate in an English Language Study. The students are coming here to improve their language skills while experiencing our culture and being a part of an American family. Staying with volunteer host families who open their hearts and homes for a few weeks to these excited youths (or teachers) is a vital aspect of this program. For just a few short weeks you can make an impact by showing the love of God with a student from another part of the world, share the gift of hospitality, breakdown cultural stereotypes and perhaps even affect international relations in the future. Your chance to plant seeds in the heart of a teen that the church would not otherwise be able to reach. If you are interested in hosting an international student this summer you can get more info at the EF table out on the patio or you can contact Olivia Muchmore at 239.357.2767 or Kim Muchmore at 239.340.5164.
